The ovation VI-682, also known as the Ecovision VI-682, uses a special tread compound designed to deliver a lower rolling resistance which reduces the overall fuel consumption and consequently the carbon emissions of the vehicle.
The tread has been designed to reduce vibration and noise by using pattern blocks in variable sizes optimised using frequency spectrum analysis. The pattern features a new groove profile designed to distribute stress on the groove wall evenly and prevent groove cracking and diagonal grooves and lines that provide reliable traction and braking performance. The tread of the VI-682 also features circumferential grooves that ensure quick water drainage to reduce the risk of aquaplaning and a pattern has a design that reduces deformation during contact with the road to provide a more stable drive with lower energy loss and better fuel efficiency.
