The tyres would go out of round and pick up punctures like no tyre i have had previously. I am getting rid of these tyres with heaps of tread left due to being out of round. My spare tyre is absolutely atrocious, and jacking the car up the other day the tyres are just plain shocking. These problems occurred at about 15-20K and I have been dealing with it the best i can ever since to about 40K. Fighting a steering wheel all the time is frustration personified and I can't wait to get the new tyres. In closing if your after some tyres in the short term like 10-20K these may do you, but don't think they will last...at least not in my experience.Read moreSimilar opinion? Write a review!

Only to find that both front tyres were damaged and 3 layers of the tyre were exposed and also in some areas of the outside layer on the inside of the wheels were having goosebumps that were making a vehicle to be bumpy when driving at the speed of +_80 Km/h. I wish the tyres could be more strengthened in the inner part side of the tyre, on the outside (not inside the tyre)

After I took the mandatory over inflation of the tyre fitter from 45psi down to 29, these tyres are less noisy than the old pirelli's and the Hancooks I had and I think they handle better in my opinion. Great value as these sized tyres tend not to be cheap but at 130.00 fitted I think I have had a win :)Read more

I would never have bought these tyres on my own accord because I always believe that Japanese and European brands are best. As such, I have driven on Bridgestone Potenza RE001, Yokohama Advan A043, Goodyear Eagle GSD3 and RS3 just to mention a few, as well as numerous semi slicks like Toyo R888 and RA1.Initially, I was very disappointed that I now had to live with 'made in China' tyres. Then I started driving the Suzuki Swift daily. The steering accuracy was the best I have ever experienced in a car. The Hifly tyres are so responsive and stiff in the sidewall that I can pick a line through any corner and place the car there effortlessly. Makes driving through twisty roads a breeze and joy. The dry grip from these tyres are very good and more than adequate for any form of daily commuting. They are also very progressive. The critical test was when it started raining. The Hiflys performed very well indeed, They just grip the road like any quality Japanese tyre. Lets just say, I was very surprised. All in all, a very good tyre for daily duties.Read more

Well, I have always looked far and wide for the best deals on tyres (as we now have three cars in the family). I used to be a 'Yokohama' fan for many years because of their reliability, safety, durability and of course 'the name' and used to spend around $1,000 for a set of tyres (235/45R17) on only one vehicle, not incl wheel alignment. These 'Hifly HF805' tyres have been branded as a high performance tyre, that perform excellent in both wet and dry conditions, but not only that, they are REALLY cheap!! How cheap, well for $420 I just picked up a whole set (235/45R17) for the Magna here in Adelaide, (not incl wheel alignment). These tyres not only look good, yes they do, they are extremely quiet and responsive compared to other brands that I have tried/driven with over the past 32 years. Hey I admit, I was a little hesitant when I bought my first two (only) for the front of the Alfa last week, but they have already exceeded my expectations especially in the wet, wow, they really push that water out. So in a nut shell and don't take my word for it, try them and see the results for yourself. Happy driving (and saving), cheers!!Read more

All were in good condition, the Hifly was new. The size was 245/35 R19. One year and 25,000 km's later, I noticed an issue with the inside edge of the Hifly. The Firestones have worn evenly across the tread. The Hifly has started to break up over a width of about 30mm, right around the inside edge of the tyre. Chunks of rubber have broken off exposing the steel belt in some sections, while others have bubbled and distorted. This tyre was about to blow. This was not due to wear down to the steel belt. Where the chunks have flown off, the rubber is about 7mm thick. I did not know how dangerous it had become until actually getting down and looking under the car. You would expect this sought of issue with a retread, not a new tyre.Read moreSimilar opinion? Write a review!

I'm on my 3rd set of 245/40/18 on my BF Falcon Ute and could not be happier. I replaced the original Dunlop's with these and was very surprised at the level of grip in both the wet and dry. I am getting a good 55,000 to 60,000km per set with a combination of Highway and inner city use. These tyres have a good load rating too my Ute is always loaded with tools and or towing toys on the weekend. Now they are not perfect admittedly, they do get a little noisy as they reach end of life but over all i cant complain about the value for money these tyre represents. Ultimately doing the right things like checking tyre pressure and balance along with periodic wheel alignment and rotating should see you get a similar result.Read more

It basically does well on both wet and dry surfaces. I don't know which range of HiFly tires the other people have been using but with the 225/45/17 I tried its excellent and you could even go racing with it. Great for people driving fast cars that are on a low budget. I will buy another set after this and another after that, this company basically shows everyone that you don't have to dig too deep into your pocket to have a good set of safe tires. Big up HiFly and keep it low.Read more

The fronts were new and the rears were at the end of their life. I do a lot of highway kms so I opted for cheap tyres, Hiflys, as I don't really need performance tyres on a straight road.I have had my 1999 BMW 323i for 40,000kms now and have just worn through my second set of Hiflys on the rear while the Supercats on the front are still like new!! I don't do burnouts, I don't do too much spirited driving (highway kms) but the tread on both paris of rears I have had has worn straight down the centre (like I've been doing burnouts). I have the same tyre on my wife's car and they seem to be wearing evenly. The only factor I can put it down to is my average speed of 85km/h compared to her average soccer-mum speed of 45km/h. It's not tyre pressure either. I have the same pressure in the front as the rear (50/50 weight split) The Hiflys must have cheap carcasses that balloon at higher speeds, resulting in the wear straight down the centre.I have no other real complaints about the tyres. They're not noisy, slippery, ugly, etc. They just seem to wear poorly at high speeds.Read moreSimilar opinion? Write a review!

Fair enough, $99 each, not too bad. 18 months and 25,000km later, no tread left. Must be a very soft compound to get the speed rating- they gripped OK when new. And I'm no hoonatik, I drive a cardigan! Twice the price will get you a tyre that is twice as good and last three times as long- don't cheap out on this crap. Thanks heaps, Tyrepower!

Bad, Dangerous tyre. Bought a Subaru WRX, which has a performance modified engine and sports suspension/steering fitted. The last owner had all four tyres replaced with HF805 Hifly's, they only had about 2000klm's on them when I bought the car, I found the tyres very roug ...Bought a Subaru WRX, which has a performance modified engine and sports suspension/steering fitted. The last owner had all four tyres replaced with HF805 Hifly's, they only had about 2000klm's on them when I bought the car, I found the tyres very rough on the road with lots of road noise, the tyres had a very unsafe feel in tight turns, a car which has the hardware like this WRX should feel sure footed and safe in tight turns, not unsafe. The Hifly HF805 tyres had bad wet weather performance, steering and breaking power, again being somewhat dangerous, I only drove on a unsealed/gravel road once, the tyres were well again dangerous, getting a rally ride at a slow speed, 50kph, where my other Subaru can drive the same gravel road at around 100kph, which I drive regular. After 5000 klms the HF805 tyres were wearing out fast, and they all wore at a different rate, with a four wheel alignment and steering check, which was all O.K, I still found the tyres wearing out, again at different rates, tried a tyre rotation, no help, tyre pressure changes did no help. After 8000klms the tyres were wearing out very fast and cuts or splits were appearing in the tread, going across the tread, one had only one split on it, another had three splits across the tyre, my tyre fitter had a look and found that they were where the tread was glued together in pieces, which I think is bad, the more I drove the more the splits opened up.After only 11000klms the tyres were in a bad state, the worst two got replaced with Bridgestone Potenza RE003, what a different car with this simple change.Well I cant say anything good about the Hifly HF805 tyres, except price, they are CHEAP, DANGEROUS on a performance car, they are made from bit's and pieces which start to fail quickly, just another Chinese cheap tyre.PLEASE BE AWARE OF HIFLY TYRES ON A PERFORMANCE CAR.Read moreSimilar opinion? Great tyres and good value for money.
