Purchased a set of 4 for $130 each. I ve only used them for 1 year so far. I have them installed on a Mazda 3, 2010 model. Size 195/65R15 onto the original steel rims.
They have very deep wide channels and variable width grooves so in theory they should be good for very wet weather. I still haven t had a chance to test these out in very heavy rain.
The steering feel is better than the original OEM Bridgestone B250 tyres. The car doesn t go quite as straight as the Bridgestone and seems to be more sensitive to wheels being out of alignment and balancing. Tyre feel is more jittery than the original OEM tyres. This actually may be the intention with higher performance tyres, to give better feedback so you can judge the feel of the road and the levels of grip.
The tyres gave off a strong new tyre smell in the garage for a very long time, approximately 5 months after purchase. Fuel consumption on the car seemed to have increased about 10% going to this tyre.
Other review sites suggest these tyres will wear quickly. I ll update this review in a few years to indicate the level of tyre wear.
