Expensive but worth it
The tyres came with the car when it was new in 2012. The car is an S_EDITION which is very fast and can get away from you if you are not careful. The first few times I drove it the tyres saved me because I accelerated too quickly out of some roundabouts and I was not used to the quick response. Good wet and dry handling and braking. I have now done 175K and have just been told for the first time that the rear tyres need to be replaced - the front ones are OK. Amazing.

long lasting and low maintenance
I have just done 80,000kms with probably another 20,000kms left in them. No punchers or flats since new. Fitted to my MY2014 Subaru Outback. Recently I have been doing a few trips in the Australian Outback, so travelling around 2500kms in 5 days on bitumen and gravel road. In both cases the tyres (and car) handle the conditions really well.

Awesome tyres
These came with my Subaru Outback and I did over 70000 km in them. I have just bought a new set. I am very happy with them and would happily recommend to anyone. Tyresales.com.au had a pretty good deal and the transaction process was painless. Tyres cost just over 1k

Subaru Outback and XV
4.8 out of 5
There are other alternatives.
The Subaru Outback had them standard and they did averagely. Grip in the wet and dry is good, but hit the gravel for too long and puncture after puncture. Due to a trip to the Flinders we had 3 punctures and the tires have only lasted 40,000km. They are quiet for the most part, but wear is poor. There are better alternatives, after all this is an expensive tire, however drive them in town a lot and they will do you fine. The same tires on the XV we own are serving us very well, don t push them too hard, and keep them off the road and they are a great tire. Should last 70,000.

Good wearing tyre for highway
225/55/17, on a Forester 55000 km 95% highway 5% gravel etc. Original tyres. Best wear I have had, but thought grip left a little to be desired. No punctures, even hit some pretty rough holes and a sleeper on freeway, but forced change due to alignment causing uneven wear. I was close to buying again but cost and forums helped me decide on different brand.

Reasonable tyre but will choose others next time
I ve had a good run with a set on my Subaru Outback. Mostly highway with a few short trips on gravel (sometimes rough). However when there was about 6mm of tread left, the front left tyre started leaking with tread separation. I will get more out of the other three.

Great Set of Tyres
Worn out front tyres therefore needed replacement. Great deal at Bob Jane, 4 tyres for the price of 3. Quite durable and soft going. Quiet runs for the car and great grip during wet weather operations. Very good value for the quality you are getting. Yokohamas are great quality tyres

Consistently reliable.
I have driven exclusively on G95s or the very similar G900s for the last 15 years. Most of my miles are easy highway running but each year I spend a couple of weeks on some very ordinary roads and tracks in outback NSW, Qld and South Australia. (Corner Country, Innaminka to Birdsville via Cordillo, Bourke to Hungerford, Hungerford to Thargomindah, Thargomindah to Sturt NP via Bulloo Downs, Flinders Ranges, Arkaroola etc.) Perhaps I have been lucky but I have never had a tyre failure and can count the number of punctures on one hand, none of them attributable to tyre shortcomings. I am alert and drive conservatively in these situations. Despite the rough treatment I get 80000 plus km out of them and the only tyre squeal I have experienced has been on the smooth concrete floors of underground carparks. I have just fitted a new set on my Subaru Forester for a trip to Diamantina NP and Mt Moffat in Carnarvon National Park. They cost me $1000. When looking for new tyres I suggest shop around and be wary of the big-name tyre retailers.

Long wearing but prone to punctures.
Had one tyre (20,00kms done) blow out at 80kms per hour after puncture. The whole side wall disintegrated! Two independent tire firms said this was unusual and should be replaced by Yokohama. The rest lasted till 60,000 kms when repeated punctures caused me to consider change, even tho some tread left. Squeal easily with cornering on bitumen. I do 10% of my journeys on dirt so they may just be better on only bitumen. Changing brand after writing to Yokohama Aus. about side wall but did not even reply to my letter. Not cheap tires.
