Below average tyre for an average cost.
Very soft sidewall, don't clip a gutter or you'll be replacing tyres. Good wet grip, need to run reasonably higher pressures to offset sloppy sidewall. Quite a noisy tyre at highway speeds, similar noise levels to my Landcruiser. In summary just "ok" for the money but definitely won't buy again due to the very soft sidewalls.

Poor Quality Tyre Bald after 25,000km
I had the Pirelli P1 Tyres fitted to the front of my 2011 Toyota Aurion which were recommended by Jax Tyres. They have only lasted 25,000km. They were fitted & balanced with a wheel alignment & the tyres are worn evenly across the tread so I cannot blame the car. The original Michelin Tyres lasted 75,000km.

Good but noisy!
I have these tyres fitted to a 2003 Mercedes C200K; they wear and handle well but are incredibly noisy on this car on anything but "freeway quality tarmac". This car has previously had Continentals (originals I think?) which were A1, and relatively inexpensive Hankooks which were spectacularly good for the price. I've used Pirelli Tyres successfully on and off for 40 years and I wouldn't buy them again for this car, and would have to be convinced to put them on another car - very disappointing really, given the reputation of Pirelli and my previous experience with them.

Got a great tyre at a great price and can't complaint
I fitted a set of these on my Porsche Cayenne, I'm impressed with the comfort and no noise of the tyre as well as the wet and dry grip. Took it for a ride during a day of heavy rain and no issues at all. I got a great price for them through an online shop called Tyroola, saved me many dollars compared to my previous tyre purchase. Overall recommend the tyres and company of purchase, my next set of tyres will be again Pirelli's for sure although I might start looking in the P7 range. Give me a few more years and I will write to tell you about the wear and tear of the tyre.

Terrible 3 blown tyres in 4 months
We had 4 Pirelli tyres fitted a year ago and 3 have gone flat on a local motorway roughly 6 weeks apart each time. 2 tyres have blown and have had a hole approximately 40mm diameter and the other one just went flat while driving. Never buying Pirelli again. We've been driving on this road for over 15 years without any issues. Driving on other tyre brands.

Driving with this tyres will make you want to walk instead.
very noisy once hit over 70kmph after in use for a year. Still good thread but the noise it made makes driving so irritating. The feeling is worse than being stuck behind slow drivers who like to stop with enough space to fit at least 1 car in front of them. Recommended by Bob Jane T Mart Joondalup because they didn't have stock for tyres that I originally wanted Michelin XM2. Seen a few other reviews by other customers saying this tyres are noisy and surprise surprise also recommended by this mob. Bob Jane T Marts should listen to the customers. These tyres seemed to become noisy after a while. Bad bad tyres. Get rid of them from your stocks. At $140+ a pop, you would expect a decent tyre that at least won't cause vibrations and noise like you driving on gravel road.

Unbelievably noisy
I cannot believe the favourable reviews I have been reading. Original equipment was Potenza. Replacing them with Pirelli Cinturato P1 was a big mistake. Have tried everything, including rotation around the wheels but with no improvement. The fluttering is very noisy and is even present on the smoothest of surfaces - very irritating. Tyre salesman told me that this problem is common with this tyre! I cannot wait to be rid of them.

Bad replacement for Bridgestone Potenza
Fitted these as first replacements for Bridgestone Potenza that came fitted on my Mazda 6 a few months ago. I was busy with work and sent my wife to Bob Jane Haberfield as rego was due and two of the tyres needed replacing. I suggested some Continental brand equivalent to Potenza as I found the Potenza a bit noisy and hard (bumpy) on the Mazda but must admit grip and handling were most excellent. She was talked out of - unknown to me at the time (3 for price of 4 new Continental tyres) - for 4 full price Pirellei Cinturato P1. I was not after a cheaper tyre. I'm no sports driver but there is noticeable under steer with the Pirelli P1 compared to the Potenza's. The Pirelli are a softer and slightly quieter ride. Though as Jay says on a previous review 'Avoid if you enjoy driving'. Make sure you do your own research and don't rely on salesmen for advice.

Quiet and relatively soft ride compared to some other sports tyres
Just fitted to my Falcon FG G6E as replacements for the original set of Dunlop SportMaxx 245/40 R18s. Was happy with the Dunlops getting almost 50,000km out of the set although that was with a lot of long distance highway driving. The Dunlops are a bit rougher but a great handling/performance tyre although would expect to wear quickly with a greater share of city driving. The Pirelli P1 is quieter, just a touch heavier in the steering and not quite as responsive but all in all they seem a fair replacement at the price ($200 a corner fitted & balanced at BJ's). Early days with these tyres on this car but if you don't want to push hard with excessively spirited driving then would have no hesitation in recommending the Pirelli P1 for their all-round grip and comfort. Also have a set of P1s on the partner's 2010 Mondeo and they have been great on that vehicle, wet or dry, and are looking like easily getting 50,000km before needing to be replaced. Overall would likely buy again.

Avoid if you enjoy driving
A salesman convinced me that these would be a similar tyre to Bridgestone Potenza or Michelin PS3. This is definitely not the case and very frustrating in reflection. The P1 provides good grip (particularly wet) for everyday driving but is in no way suitable for a performance/sports car. I’ve had these for <1,000 kms and already considering a replacement. In semi -spirited driving there is a lot of tyre scrub and understeer which takes away the fun of a weekend mountain drive. DSC is now flashing like crazy on every corner in perfect conditions, where it previously only lit up in the wet.I really don’t know why people are recommending these for XR6’s etc. Fine for a Corolla/Camry/Magna but stay away if you have a performance car or enjoy driving.

good cheap replacement for Pzero
After being mightily impressed by the Pzero even in RFT,i was not looking forward to having to downgrade slightly. The P1 offers much the same feel but with slightly less grip and firmness and a has a softer ride.If you have sport suspension and are after firm handling and grip and minimal to no tyre squeal, these are just fine.

TYRES CAUSE VIBRATIONS & ARE VERY NOISY
2 new P1's fitted to Forester on front. Small vibration through the steering wasn't really noticed until the car was taken over 80KPH & then it became more pronounced. Car was taken back & wheels were re balanced with no noticeable difference noted. After seeing other reviews of similar problems, I swapped the wheels to the rear - no more vibration through the steering but it is noted throughout the car when speed is over 80 - wheels have been checked for out of round/buckles. On certain road surfaces, the tyres also become unbelievably noisy. Whereas I have been happy with the results when I have used Pirelli before on smaller cars, this is my first usage on a bigger car & I am Not at all happy with these Pirelli Cinturato P1’s

A good tyre for the price
Got these as a replacement for the OEM Bridgestones that came with the car. The new tyres have gret grip in the dry and the wet, and less road noise than the bridgestones (which is a good thing as Mazda doen't lead the way with sound proofing. The only bug bear is they are a firmer ride, but I can live with that.
