2010 Ford Transit
I chose the right tyre for my motor home
I did a lot of research into the 6 tyres that I needed to replace on my motor home.
Using the European standards as a guide I eventually decided on the Nexen.
I haven’t been disappointed,
The best part is the noise which was a factor in my decision. Amazingly quiet compared to the Goodyear’s that I replaced.
I have had to climb some steep muddy dirt roads at times and the vehicle did it with ease. I reckon the tyres had a lot to do with it.
I recently drove the Oxley Hwy which has 365 bends and my wife who normally doesn’t like windy roads, was fine.
The steering response is good too.
So far wear has been minimal. I have rotated the front to right rear once. I’ll rotate every 10,000 k’s. I expect to get at least 60,000 k out of them.
Another surprise was the price. Good quality for a mid range price.
Peppers Tyres at Fountaindale on the NSW Central Coast ordered them and fitted them. Great service. All my family now buy their tyres at Peppers now.
I would buy Nexen again and recommend them to anyone with a RV or light van.
