Brilliant
I have tried a multitude of tyres for my car and the Michies are the stand out tyre for my car. The car came originally fitted with Pirelli p Zero 235-45-18 fantastic tyre in both the wet and dry, only set back was the poor Klms with having the tread depth indicattors level to the tread after only 15.000 Klms. I realize that my car comes in at a hefty 1.8 Tonnes but that was a bit hard to swallow. Fitted another set rotating them at every 5000 klms instead of 10.000 and clocked up 16.000 Klms a very slight improvement time to change brands, then I fitted Khumo s, same problem...... I even pursued changing the wheel alignment and tyre pressure settings, they handled well but very noisy. I then updated my Coupe from a 2006 model to my present 2008 model I asked the Service Manager of the Dealership where I purchased my second Peugeot if they had struck this problem with the 407 Coupe s,(I was well aware that the Pirelli s were a softer compound and therefore wore quicker, but 15.000 K s.) He said to me to try the Michelin Primacy 235 / 45 / 18 - HP and to specify that those tyres be fitted at the Factory when I placed the order for my new car,I asked him how come nobody had ever even mentioned Michelin s to me before,he did not answer me on that question but said French car should have french tyres how right he was. Pressure 42 Psi all round and nearing 40.000 klms with about 10 to 15.000 to GO.

Much better substitute then OEM Michelin tyres
These tyres have lasted 70000Km s on my 2002 Nissan Maxima. They are the second set on the car. The first set were Michelin Pilot Primacy s which came fitted on the car. I chose these tyres because they were Michelin, and because they were $235/each instead of $480 for the Michelin OEM replacement. And to be quite honest I did not notice any difference between the two tyres. I got exactly the same mileage from the previous set and handling was still great. If anything these tyres were a bit more comfortable. Both tyres were 93V rated and made in France. I am told the new Primacy HP s are Thai made so, if this is true, I d love to know how they perform.

Expensive but fantastic
We have used many brands over the years - Goodyear, Dunlop, Bridgestone, Pirelli and most recently Yokohama BluEarth. Dunlops came with the car and based on that experience, we won t go there again if we can help it. Yohohamas are great from price, performance - grip, tyre roll, noise perspectives. So what about Michelin? They came with our car. Won t have considered them if they weren t because they are expensive. But buy are they good. They grip so well and wear so well. I feel like I am glued on the road with them. That said, they are 235/45 R18 which are pretty wide. Will definitely consider getting them next time if the price is right!
