Great tyre at an amazing price.
My Terra's rear tyres were needing replacing, and I was concerned about the prices. I went to a new upstart tyre company in town and was offered these Grenlanders at a great price. Of course I was a bit concerned, I had purchased Chinese tyres many years ago, and they were rubbish. But anyway I was assured that things had improved heaps and to give them a go.
So I put two on the rear, and drove off to Brisbane. They were smooth running and quiet. My first ( but short lived ) impression, was they were a bit "slidey/ swayey" going around corners at speed. After 100 or so kms, things changed and they started hugging the roads just fine. ( They have quite a deep tread on them ). I do a lot of travelling in SE Qld, and was up on Tambourine Mountain , ( a high rainforest area ) one day when storms came over. I departed down one of the very long, steep twisty roads off the mountain, in pouring rain over leaves and debris, and was amazed that the tyres held on perfectly. I have done 15,000 kms on them, and they have no obvious wear or problems. I have put them on the front now, and yes, I still think they are amazing.
