Great tyres, great price
The tyres are great. Can't tell the difference between these and the more expensive AT20. Had Dunlops from the beginning and will keep using them. Dealing with Tyrecompare was also a breeze: selected the tyres, wait for the email when they are ready and had them fitted. Too easy.

Average all round tyre!
The Dunlop's are a quiet durable all round tyre for 4x4s, but more suitable for road and sand use. At 30,000km they are wearing well, just not aggressive enough for my liking.

86000kms From new. Great tyre ignore the idiot ute drivers
Durable, Good grip, quality construction (tread and sidewalls), cope well with punctures (self healing) two of my tyres had three nails and never went flat. OEM utilise this tyre for a reason. Good on and offroad. Used on and offroad for the first 40 thousand or so kms. Then onroad predominantly after 45thousand kms or so. Theres a lot of idiots whinging about these tyres on Utilitys. Number one Reason why people claim they have no grip in the wet is because utes by design have minimal over rear axle weight. Couple that with the very short first gear and torquey initial low rpm of the bt 50 and ranger turbo diesel and yeah most hard compound tyres will slip. These tyres are a safe, reputable, hard long wearing compound that you will easily obtain 45 to 50thousand kms on without worry, unlike cheap chinese blends that tend to stick well but wear within several thousand kms. I became conservative in my driving ie (careful cornering, alignement, regular Rotation and balancing etc) at 50 thou kms and just today had new at22s put on at 90185kms (just on wear indicator) Quality tyre, if you dont drive like a moron in wet weather they are an excellent tyre.

Good wear, Ok Off Road. Terrible in the wet.
These were on my FJ Cruiser as a OEM tyre. Ok in the dry on the bitumen and surprisingly ok also on dirt roads, handled sand Ok. On road Wet weather performance was disgusting. Changed them at 35,000 km and got a pair of Maxxis All Terrains instead. Ok if you do dry road driving only.

Excellent except for mud performance.
Second set on my Lexus LX 470. Really good on the tar, very quiet. Excellent on the road in the wet too. Very good on dirt and good wearing. Apparently they are very good on sand too. I have had one puncture on a bush road, which I felt was unusual. However be very careful in clay and mud. Tread blocks up and virtually no grip. I do 90% on the black top but I have been a bit disappointed when on mud. Which has not been deep but actually a newly topped dirt road with high clay content.

102000k out of original set!
Can't believe I'm writing a review about tyres! I must have too much time.... Own a 150 series VX prado from new. Mixed driving but mainly asphalt. Tow a 1800kg caravan regularly (at least 8-10 times per year) and hit the high country and down some pretty testing roads and tracks (less in winter) as I appreciate the tyres aren't set up for serious 4wd in the winter.. But have done my share of rivers crossings etc.. Car safety gear (abs, traction control etc) started kicking in around 95k around corners I knew we're previously ok when the van was on.... Had everything tested (shockers, electrics) which all came up ok.. So focus back on tyres. So at 95k my tyres were starting to talk to the prado that the traction when towing the van was starting to deplete. Haven't towed for the past few thousand kilometres and local dealer said I may be able to get a few more from them but decided to new ones today as away camping this weekend. Have had Coopers in the past on 120 prado, got about 60k from them which is consistent from their marketing.

good tyre
these tires are durable and last long on the tarmac. I had them on a pajero. Its a bit slippery in the wet and noisy as well. Over all The tyre has its positives and negatives but for the price its offered, I am ok with buying it again over cheap Chinese brands.

Excellent
Travelled 81k and still had another 7k left on two of the tyres. Had to work at it by keeping an eye on wear patterns and adjusting pressures as required. Also rotated every 10k and had wheel alignments every 12 months. Are the costs of wheel alignmets woth it? I don't know but it must have a contributing effect on the costs of managing the tyres. I also drive very easily, don't go off road much.

Slippery in the wet
Have done 15000km on these in Ford Ranger mainly onroad, minimal wear. All well and good except in the wet they have poor grip. Embarrassing when stopped on a hill in the wet as back will slide all over the place when you try to get going again. Need to engage 4wd for a while to get enough traction to get car moving, which is not desirable on bitumen for part time 4wd like ranger. Complained to Ford that they shouldn't fit these to Rangers as they appear dangerous in wet. Don't expect much from Ford, will be extremely careful in wet until I see a good deal on changing to something else. Some comments on this forum good, but seem to be mostly from fulltime 4WD vehicles.

Terrible
Not cheap but nasty. Would I fork out $350 plus on these tyres? Not on your nellie!!! If you are going bush on these tyres take plenty of food and water as you will be stuck for quite a while, or just take a full set of other branded tyres, anything but Dunlop Grandtrek

No good in the wet.
4000ks on a 2016 Ford Ranger these tyres are scary in the wet. Wheel spin up steep hills in wet, front tyre slides, all whilst driving carefully. An emergency stop or sudden swerve would be interesting. Can't comment on anything else about them, they may be really good everywhere else, but not worth keeping if you live where it rains a bit. I'm putting on some other tyres.

Dunlop Grandtrek At22
Purchased a set of Dunlop Grandtrek AT22 because the supplier was out of stock of Continentals and Pirelli's. Not bad in the dry but very poor performer in the wet. Slips on acceleration and unstable when cornering. vehicle is a Mazda BT50 Dual cab 4x4. Would not purchase these again. I was influenced by the Dunlop web site and how the tyre was described.
