Great tyres for my Yaris
I had these fitted 2 months ago by a mobile tyre fitter. They look great, and are good in all conditions especially on wet roads. I wanted a good quality tyre for my Toyota Yaris as I travel a lot on the highway and wanted to be safe. Got a good deal, buy 4 get 1 free and the cost including fitting was $297 and he came to my house.

Very good tyre, good value
Bought for my daughter s Ford Escape (215/70R16T) to replace the Bridgestone Duelers that showed cracks after only 57,000kms. Our conclusion after three months: very comfortable and quiet, smooth handling and excellent braking on wet. Can t say anything about longevity yet, but our mechanic who recommended them said they would last 60,000 to 75,000kms, depending on the style of driving of course. Very happy so far, can recommend!

OK with good life
These tyres last forever. Had them on for 40,000km so far and it doesn t look the thread has receded more then 4 or 5 mm... atlesat another 40,000km left in them. They were also very cheap. Quiet and grippy in the dry but pretty bad wet grip, so I would just be careful with them when driving in the wet. Really strong sidewalls too and they don t lose pressure. Real workhorse tyres.

Terrible
I have a Mercedes 280E. On dry bitumen in Summer, they are fine. Interesting, braking in the wet is fine in suburban streets is fine. At above 100km/h in the rain, I find it gets unstable when driven over the lane reflectors (like it slips on them). I find it lacks grip in cold damp weather like in Canberra winter mornings, especially if tyres are cold. There are some sections of the Federal Highway where I would not drive faster than 90km/h with these tyres, eventhough it is a 110km/h zone. In the cold and wet, I find it to understeer which is uncharacteristic for this rear wheel drive car. Sometimes it tramlines. I find these tyres are noisy. These tyres have around 6mm of tread and I m thinking of getting rid of them and trying to source some Uniroyals, Pirellis or Continentals as a replacement. Unlike others who may only drive in suburban streets, they are not suitable for the type of driving I do which involves extreme cold, extreme hot, wet, dry, dirt roads, bitumen roads, gravel roads where I drive between capital cities and country towns. I don t like these tyres. I find these tyres do not inspire confidence in me. I have driven on far better tyres.

Good
I had these on a 2000 Holden Astra and they were a replacement for the factory tyres. I managed to get 65,000km of fairly spirited driving out of them, They gave better than average grip and reasonable noise levels.

Good
I have never been so impressed with a tyre. I live on the Great Ocean Road, my usual driving involves winding roads, steep hills, very demanding conditions for tyres. (Though I am no racing driver, I drive pretty sensibly.)The car is a 1999 Holden SB Barina. My previous tyres were Kumho kh15 which lasted 35,000 km; before that were Kellys which lasted 30,000 km. These BF Goodriches have lasted only 27,000 km. Despite the shorter life I was going to buy these tyres again, as I have really been pleased with them. They really stick to the road through twisty sections of road, very confidence-inspiring. Perhaps the shorter life is partly because they handle so well, I tend not to slow down for the corners as much as previously. Unfortunately the suppliers are out of stock and won t have more for several weeks, so I will try something else, perhaps Pirellis.

Good
I am not a motor head or auto enthusiast. I just needed some good new tyres after buying cheap Diamond Back tyres from K Mart 2 years ago. Jax Quick Fit suggested the BFGoodrich and I took their advice. I have had them now for 4 weeks and have driven in dry, moist and delluge conditions. Very happy with them.
