  1. Hi Matt Banks, unsure where you got your information from, Bridgestone ceased tyre manufacturing in Australia in 2008 with the closing of its last plant in Adelaide, since turned into an athletics/sporting oval.
    Bridgestone was the last tyre manufacturer in Australia however.
    No tyres are manufactured in Australia these days with the exception of retreading, Bandag being the biggest, which Bridgestone does own, its primary operations are in Brisbane.
